Product Design Prototyper
Designed complex mobile features for smart energy optimisation (StrømKontrol): Spot price optimisation, Threshold optimisation, EV Charger configuration, control & monitoring, scheduled charging, thermostat smart scheduling. Introduced Advanced Figma prototyping, ProtoPie and Arduino and simulated end-to-end product scenarios, helping teams discover, align, validate and showcase before even bothering engineers to code. Helped establish prototyping as a core part of the product process, not just for testing, but for storytelling and alignment. Contributed to building Design System from the ground up and converting key components to ProtoPie's Interactive Library.
Field & Remote Research
Frequently visited Oslo, Norway to conduct hands-on research with electricians and users in real homes, translating messy reality into actionable insights. Recruited participants for remote sessions by loading ProtoPie prototypes into Useberry tests to receive feedback, compare A/B versions and measure SUS score.

Aligned Software & Hardware Teams Early
Used analytical process to drive early technical discussions, reveal backend limitations, and reduce friction between departments. Component design, state machine analysis, proposal presentations and simulator prototypes helped communicate design team's assumptions and iterate faster. Cross-Functional communication enabler who acted as a bridge between engineering, product, and growth, helping turn assumptions into shared understanding through interactive demos.
Motion Design
Took initiative and build Lottie animations to support user onboarding on new product features and explain complex concepts like Scheduled Pre-Heating, Max Guard and Grid Tariffs. Followed existing iconography and graphic design language of Futurehome, but added motion.

Measured UX Impact
Established UX Metrics Dashboard on Mixpanel for key initiatives relevant to OKRs. Monitored and supported decisions with real user behavior insights. When combined with Qualitative Research and input from Customer Support cases, prioritisation could be completed within a 2-hour cross-department meeting which lead to less project stalling and increased action and delivery speed.

Team Health-check & Improvements
Sought out feedback from PMs, POs, Engineers and Designs about the state of design prototyping. Acted on feedback to train designers in advanced prototyping techniques, documented handover processes that embrace internal limitations and capabilities that cut our delivery times in half. Surveyed employees about product vision with the goal to raise alarms and make everyone's voice heard towards leadership.
